@Curt Same when I replaced old 1400 with new 700. All operating fine but controller is looking for 1400. I could cut jumper to solve but may want a 1400 next time.

How do I troubleshoot if the AquaPure electronic salt water chlorinator is not producing enough chlorine?

To troubleshoot if the AquaPure electronic salt water chlorinator is not producing enough chlorine, follow these steps: 1. Check the stabilizer (cyanuric acid) level in the pool water. If it is low, add stabilizer to maintain a level of 50-75 PPM as recommended by a pool professional. 2. Ensure that the unit is operating for a sufficient number of hours per day. Increase the system operating time if necessary. Refer to Section 5, Operating Instructions in the manual for instructions on adjusting the operating time. 3. Verify that the CHLORINE PRODUCTION percentage is not set too low or turned off at 00%. Increase the chlorine production by pressing the Chlorine Production Rate Adjustment button (arrow button B). Refer to Section 5, Operating Instructions for more details. 4. If there have been recent increases in weather temperature without a corresponding increase in chlorine production, adjust the chlorine production rate as mentioned in step 3. 5. In case of a temporary loss of chlorine due to heavy organic load (rain, leaves, fertilizer, or heavy bather load), set the system to "Boost" mode and allow it to run for 24 hours. If the chlorine level is still too low, super chlorinate the pool with an outside source. Refer to Section 5, Operating Instructions for instructions on using the "Boost" mode. If the issue persists after following these troubleshooting steps, it is recommended to contact a pool professional for further assistance.

What should I do if the PureLink water purification system is not functioning properly?

If the PureLink water purification system is not functioning properly, follow these steps to troubleshoot the issue: 1. Check the power supply: Ensure that the power center of the AquaPure APUREM is receiving power. Verify that the power cord is securely connected and that there are no tripped circuit breakers or blown fuses. 2. Inspect the cell and sensor: Examine the 3-port electrolytic cell and sensor for any signs of damage or corrosion. Clean the cell if necessary, following the instructions in Section 9 of the manual. Replace the cell or sensor if they are worn out or malfunctioning. 3. Verify the salt level: Check the salt level in the pool water using a salt test kit. The recommended salt level for the AquaPure system is between 3200-4000 ppm. If the salt level is low, add the appropriate amount of salt as per the manufacturer's instructions. 4. Check the flow and temperature: Ensure that there is proper water flow through the system and that the temperature is within the operating range. Clean or replace the flow/temp/salinity sensor if it is clogged or damaged. 5. Reset the system: If none of the above steps resolve the issue, try resetting the system by turning off the power and then turning it back on after a few minutes. If the problem persists after following these troubleshooting steps, it is recommended to contact a pool professional for further assistance.
